Stomper Janet was surprised when she saw that the metal fences to a community garden at Boon Lay Drive had been cut yesterday (May 21) at around 4.38pm.

According to Janet, the garden, surrounded by Block 190, 186 and 188 was usually locked and was used as a venue for elderly folks to play the game of bocce.

However she saw that there were many children playing inside the garden yesterday.

Said Janet:

“I think someone might have gotten frustrated after being unable to get the key to open the locks.

“The fences look like they were cut neatly, using equipment.”
