Ghim Moh resident captures stunning photos of lightning strikes using his DSLR

Stomper Leong captured beautiful pictures of lightning on Saturday (Nov 25) at around 6.30pm during a thunderstorm.

The Stomper took these electrifying images from his house at Ghim Moh Link using his DSLR camera.

Having taken a photography course in 2011, he saw his chance and decided to put his skills to use.

He was even fast enough to have captured a shot where there were two lightning strikes.

Leong said that Saturday was quite "thundery" and saw it as a good opportunity to whip out his camera.

"This is the beauty of nature," he said.
