A 21-year-old Malaysian man has been arrested for allegedly raping his 48-year-old mother in their house at Kamunting, Perak in Malaysia.
The incident happened last Wednesday (Mar 8), and the widow with five children lodged a police report the following morning (Mar 9), reports The Coverage.
Taiping OCPD Assistant Commissioner Harrith Kam Abdullah has confirmed the incident and said that the man was arrested at his workplace on Thursday (Mar 9) at about noon.
Said Assistant Commissioner Harrith Kam Abdullah:
“According to the victim, her son had forced himself on her on Wednesday evening.
“The suspect will be remanded for seven days under Section 117 of the Criminal Procedure Code until Mar 15.”
