Man hand-carries piles of pancakes on flight after luggage becomes overweight by 15kg

With the Lunar New Year holiday now coming to a close, people across China are leaving their families and returning to their workplaces. However, one man was caught trying to bring a little too much of home back with him.

On Thursday, the man was spotted at Nanjing Lukou International Airport taking a massive pile of his mother's homemade pancakes out of his baggage, Shanghaiist reports.

Apparently, the pancakes plus some pickled vegetables his mum had also packed had caused his luggage to be 15 kg overweight.

Not to worry, he did not leave his mum's precious pancakes at the airport. Instead, he carried them on board the plane.

Last year, a woman wolfed down 5k of durian until her nose started to bleed after security guards stopped her from bringing the smelly fruit inside the train station.
