Malaysian firemen rescue rooster that got stuck during escape attempt

A rooster in Malaysia found out that escaping wasn’t going to be chicken feet -- after its leg got caught in a narrow gap near a window on the third storey of a shophouse as it was escaping.

According to The Star, Damansara’s Fire and Rescue Department received a call from a member of the public at around 3pm on Sunday (Jan 8).

When the officers arrived, they found the rooster perched dangerously along the edge of the third storey of a shophouse in SEA Park.

It is uncertain how the rooster escaped its coop, but it is believed that the rooster was stuck there for about half an hour.

Thankfully, the firefighters were able to free the rooster’s leg and return it to its owner unharmed.
