A motorcyclist snatched the handbag of a 41-year-old Chinese national in Malaysia who was taking a selfie.
According to The Star, the incident took place at Dataran Merdeka, Kuala Lumpur, on May 9 at around 12.30pm.
A video recorded from the woman's phone that was then circulated online first shows her positioning herself in front of her phone by the road.
As she was doing so, a motorcyclist came from behind and snatched her pink hand bag, causing her to fall in the process.
The woman can be heard screaming as she got pulled down.
The motorcyclist then rode away thereafter.
A police spokesperson said that the victim was unhurt and only lost personal documents that were in the bag.
She left for an overseas trip shortly after making a report at Genting Highlands police station.
Police investigations are ongoing.
