Madonna visits Malawi apply to adopt 2 more kids

Pop icon 58-year-old Madonna applied to adopt two more local children from Malawi in a court session on Wednesday (Jan 25).

Madonna had visited the southern African nation in 2016 to inspect the work done by her charity, ‘Raising Malawi’ and adopted two other children from the place; David Banda in 2006 and Mercy James in 2009, reports AsiaOne. 

A spokesman of the Lilongwe High Court, from the capital of Malawi said:

"The court is looking at the application now to determine whether Madonna can adopt these two children.

"The... process requires the court to make a ruling on the adoption.”
