Motorist forced to jam on the brakes to avoid crashing into Merc driver who changed lanes abruptly

Stomper Ivan was driving along Yishun Avenue 7 today (May 16) at around 7.30am when he nearly got into an accident thanks to a Mercedes driver who changed lanes abruptly at the traffic junction.

In the video Ivan contributed, a white Mercedes of licence plate number SLK512P can be seen signalling and cutting abruptly into his lane. The Stomper has to jam on the brakes to avoid a collision.

Said the Stomper:

"Thankfully, the car behind me was quite far away. If not, I would surely have gotten hit at the rear.

"To all drivers on the road, please don't just signal and cut into a lane. Please check and make sure it is safe before you change lanes."
