Meet the cabby who would rather go against traffic than use roundabout at Jurong East

Stomper CCK saw a taxi driver go against traffic to avoid going round a roundabout at the International Business Park in Jurong East today (Mar 21).

The incident occurred when the Stomper was driving at Jurong East today, and was recorded on his dashboard camera.

CCK clarified that even though the timestamp on the clip shows 7.15am, the incident actually took place at 8am.

As both CCK's car and the taxi pulled up to a roundabout, the cabby can be seen coming to a stop.

However, instead of going onto the roundabout lane, the taxi driver made an illegal U-turn against the flow of traffic to get to the other side of the road.

"I'm not trying to break his rice bowl but this type driving attitude should change, especially since he is a taxi driver who drives passengers all around Singapore every day."
