Stomper Jin Hui was riding along Boon Lay Way on Tuesday (May 16) at around 8.20am when he saw a driver beat the red light and nearly collide with another vehicle.

The video the Stomper contributed shows him waiting at the traffic junction as vehicles make a right turn from an adjacent road. After the signal turns green and the stationary vehicles start to accelerate, a silver car suddenly turns into the lane, forcing an approaching car to stop.

Said the Stomper:

"The video clearly shows that traffic turns green and we have the right of way.

"Vehicle number SJF286S was found making a right turn on red and almost bang into the car going straight.

"Luckily the vehicle with the "CCTV" sticker stopped in time to avoid the accident."
