A Stomper narrowly avoided a collision with a taxi driver while travelling along Shenton Way towards the East Coast Parkway (ECP) on Feb 2.

The cabby travelled straight in a left-turn-only lane, forcing the Stomper to jam on his brakes so as to avoid an accident.

Said the Stomper:

"This a a five-lane road. Lanes 1 and 2 are for going straight only. Lane 3 is to go straight or turn left. Lanes 4 and 5 are for turning left only.

"SDH 9070Y was at Lane 4 (left -turn only) but it went straight. I was at Lane 3 intending to turn left.

"In order to avoid a collision, I had to jam on my brakes to allow it to go straight before I could turn left."
