'Bodoh' Peugeot driver drives into oncoming traffic to overtake queue of cars at Cavenagh Road

Stomper Ron was driving down Cavenagh Road towards Orchard Road on Mar 8 when he saw a Peugeot driver drive into oncoming traffic just so that he could cut queue.

A long queue of cars had formed while drivers waited to clear the traffic light.

"A driver of a white Peugeot decided that he didn't need to join the queue," said Ron.

Either he didn't care or was ignorant but he felt it was OK to cut across the double white lines and drive against traffic.

"Further down he had to move back when he came against oncoming traffic but carried on driving to the front of the queue, crossing the double white lines all the way.

"He didn't appear to be in a hurry when I came closer to his car along Somerset Road, driving quite leisurely and turning off into 111 Somerset.

"Didn't he know he was breaking the law?"
